BioFlorida Day is a great opportunity for members of BioFlorida to advocate before the Florida Legislature on issues impacting the biotech and life science industries. During BioFlorida Day, BioFlorida members actively participate in briefings regarding policy initiatives, political updates, and advocacy training. Theses briefings have been very well received in the past and BioFlorida members are able to actively engage with the presenters.
In addition to these briefings, BioFlorida Day also allows member to take our issues directly to State Legislators. In the afternoon, participants meet with State Representatives and State Senators to discuss issues impacting our industries. These meetings provide an opportunity for BioFlorida members to advocate for the biotech and life science industries and provide great opportunities to view how the Florida Legislature affects our companies.
