Xhale Diagnostics, Inc.,  a privately held medical device company in Gainesville, FL developing breath-based diagnostics, has successfully closed its Series A financing round.  The capital raised will support further development of commercial prototypes for the first products in a line of devices the company believes will replace many of today's commonly-used diagnostic tests with breath-based monitors.  Xhale was founded in 2005 to commercialize products based on more that 20 patents and patent applications licensed from the University of Florida (UF). www.xhalediagnostics.com.
